2018 and stock. The Performante model itself has special stock exhaust system.
@@WatsonWu thanks for the info. I’m bringing home a ‘19 Perf next week and wasn’t sure if the exhaust had the pops and crackles that I love so much. Weather was bad so I couldn’t test drive it. My ‘17 610-4 sounded amazing.

Some sounds don't really feel like it's always shot from 1st person. The spatialization "feel" seems off with some guns. Some guns lack punch imo. But overall this is top notch quality, it feels like the game is a bit goofy, especially the animations, but the sound design is way above the rest, which is a bit funny if you think about it

If you grip the mag on a STEN you increase the possibility of a malfunction. You do not know what you are doing. This blows.

Sten Mk3 mag well is welded fixed so it is possible to grasp it by the well not mag,the gun would be better if the jacket is ventilated.
why do all the American's shoot a Sten by holding it by the magazine??????? FFS, stop it.
Same as the STERLING never grasp it by the mag when firing.

Cool. Can't wait for this. What is your opinion of the pre-amps ? Are they better than the older H1n and quieter ? I couldn't find any info on this online. This recordings sounds pretty quiet, but I guess you had no wind protection as it sounds a bit "blowy" in places.
Preamp is quite nice, very useful for all kinds of sounds. I never had the older H1n so I can’t give an accurate opinion. Yes, I did this quick test recording without wind protection.

Could you present the guide for the blind included in this device? I know at least several people with this disability who are very interested in this series of devices. I am also blind and I am very curious whether, for example, the start of recording is signaled, the battery level, etc.

Thw problem with holdin the firearm bu yhe mag an magwell is the reciprocal movement of the bolt goin back an forth an the inertia ..wat happens is the magwell begins to become torn off from the receiver tube ...its nit about looks or comfort

@@swojal1493 No. The Sten gun was held by the barrel shroud. If you look at old pictures of soldiers holding the gun, they hold it by the barrel shroud. Even the famous photo of Winston Churchill, he was holding the Sten by it's shroud.

@@WatsonWu As was taught in the British military for the Sten, and also the German military for the MP38/40…..holding the magazine could result in bent feed lips and result in turn in fail to feed problems. Proper way to hold the Sten was like holding a rifle, one hand holding the barrel shroud from underneath. Or holding the gun just forward of the trigger. Ignore Hollywood. With the German MP38/40….one hand holding not the magazine….. but holding the magazine well…as high as possible. Back in the day….a soldier caught holding these weapons by the magazine would get a swift combat boot up the backside from the sergeant. Or worse…. I had two UA-cam videos about it for you. But UA-cam deletes the links for them. Do a search on UA-cam.

I love full auto and suppressed❤. Basically, all you hear is the action working and a little poof in-between. My old coworker was a range officer for a local police department and he had access to MP5’s. Every year, he would bring them to the range and we would bring the ammo.

It’s amazing something like that can protect your ears from loud explosive noise and still allow you to hear the recordings true to life even when in a location like a coffee shop.

Do you have any good microphone recommendations for filming racing/Motorsport? Looking to attend Silverstone and goodwood next year and looking to do some filming. I’d imagine some sort of shotgun mic to help filter out some crowd noise and put more focus on the sound of the cars in front?
What camera will you be using? Hopefully it will have at least one XLR input. If so, Sennheiser 8050 isolates well and can handle most loud race cars.

How is the 416 with the windshield attached? Does the lyre mount sag and make contact with the base when moving the mic?

57 is good for exhaust captures. You’ll probably want a lavalier for engine compartment.
